Primary 1 – 6
Our school colours are black and grey, with a white polo shirt and school trousers/skirts/ pinafore etc.
Embroidered clothing and other items are available to purchase online. Plain, non branded items of clothing are also suitable. School ties for P1 pupils can be purchased at the school office.
Primary 7
P7 sweatshirts are royal blue. These can be purchased via the same website and should be paired with grey / black trousers/skirts etc. We encourage all pupils to wear collars.
PE
Please come dressed for PE on your allocated days. We do not have any changing rooms in school and pupils should come dressed for PE on their allocated days (class teachers will communicate this information to parents). We ask that children bring a change of shoes as we operate a ‘jumpers off, gym shoes on’ approach.
We remind you that Midlothian and school policy is
- football colours / strips should not be worn
- no inappropriate clothing such as crop tops
- no hoop earrings
all long hair should be tied up
ELC
The ELC has its own sweatshirt, polo shirt and outdoor jacket. These can be purchased via the same website; www.beuniforms.co.uk
Children in our ELC have access to a wonderful outdoor area which is used in all weathers. With this in mind, please send your child to ELC in clothing that is comfortable and will not hinder their experiences.
It is important that all items of clothing are labelled with the child’s name. This includes shoes / wellies, jackets, changes of clothes and bags.
